Shichi-Go-San celebrates the healthy growth of children. Traditionally, girls three and seven years old and five-year-old boys get dressed up in kimono to take photos and visit a temple.
Three-Year-Old Rental $310~
Three year old girls are dressed in colorful kimono to mark the traditional age when they begin growing their hair long. Kimono without obi-sash is comfortable to wear for a young child.
Five-Year-Old Rental $330~
Comes from the tradition of boys being allowed to put on a hakama for the first time at the age of five. We have many hakamas with designs that symbolizes strength and healthy growth of your special boy.
Seven-Year-Old Rental $420
Girls at the age of seven began wearing a full set-up kimono like adults, including an obi-sash. We are sure that your girl will enjoy finding her favorite design from our collection.

Rental Damage, Loss and Staining of Merchandise
We provide laundering of the kimono and cleaning of the accessories after they are returned to us. Please do not attempt to wash or remove stains from the kimonos as they require specialized cleaning technique due to their delicate fabric and construction. We reserve the right to charge you extra cleaning and repair fees if the soiling is beyond the normal wear of the kimono.
- Soiling that cannot be removed with normal laundry such as permanent ink, wine, and blood stains.
- Snagging inside the sleeves from accessories such as wrist watch and bracelet.
- Damage to the hem of the kimono from dragging it on the ground.
- Strong perfume scent that require special odor removal treatment
* The cleaning and repair fees will depend on the extent of the soiling and damage
* Without proper skill and knowledge, a layperson’s attempt to clean or fix the soiling or damage may worsen the situation and result in a greater charge.
* Unrepairable damage or loss of the kimono will result in extra charge over the initial rental fee.
